Building a church in the community for the community

15 years ago Strawberry Lodge and our adjacent church building was one winter away from collapsing. A construction project has resulted in a fully renovated 17th Century house, and a modern multi-purpose church building opened in 1995 by Capt. Sawyers and Iris Blake, 2 original members of Mill Lane Mission, which was established in 1954.

The premises of Carshalton Baptist Church and Strawberry Lodge are now run successfully as Strawberry Lodge Conference Centre for the sole benefit of the church and mission.
