being birthed since 2000. Many are overseen by Pastor, Surprise Sithole,
the International Director of Pastors for IRIS Ministries, based
in Backdoor. |
Football

| This match was the first time these kids had ever played on a proper grass pitch with goals. They turned up as they were to play a fully kitted out college team… and won 4-0! 18 boys’ dream come true, all for the cost of a taxi ride to the pitch. |

Making Friends

We have discovered that what people in Backdoor want above everything else is for people to actually come and spend time with them. Despite their poverty, the children in Backdoor don’t want your charity. |

They want you to come and empower them to change their communities themselves. You can do this by passing on your gifts, talents and life skills to them… and by simply loving them! |
